Standard Movement
- Move Speed in metres
- Can interrupt movement to take other actions, unless stated otherwise
Running
- Instead of a Simple Action and cannot run if a Simple Action has already been performed
- Move double Speed
Sprinting
- Triple Speed in a straight line
- Full Round Action
Crawling
Jumping
- As part of a standard movement can jump 1m high or 1m in distance
- Making a higher/longer jump is a Simple Action
- Atheltics (S) Test – DN determined by the GM
- Long Jump distance = STR metres
- High Jump distance = ¼ STR metres
- If you jump into difficult terrain, you must make an additional DN 3 Athletics (S) Test to avoid falling Prone
Swimming
- ½ Speed
- If also difficult terrain, GM may ask for an Athletics (S) Test
- If you become submerged for an extended period of time, fall unconscious, or are Dying whilst swimming, you may begin to drown (see Suffocation p.201)
Flying
- Flying allows you to move a number of metres equal to either your Speed, or a Speed indicated by the method of flight (in your ability or Wargear text, for example)
- Flying ignores terrain penalties and can move over (but not through) other characters
- If you are knocked Prone while flying, you fall from the sky (see Falling on p.201)
Climbing
- ½ Speed
- To climb faster – DN 3 Athletics (S) Test
- Climb a number of metres up to Speed
- Using Movement + Simple Action
- Using Movement + Combat Action
