18/07/2076 – Jack gets a call from Seb

• About run for a Co-op
• Maintain a section of sewers
• Have a problem
• Steve and Andy

• Jack calls Andy
• Arranges a meet (Sunday 19/07/2076 00:00)
• Nightclub, late that night
• Ultimate Dance Explosion

• Arrive
• Jack bluffs his way in past the appalling security
• Very loud, humid and busy
• Can see the two Johnson’s arguing?
• Middle aged humans
• Want us to repair an access panel
• In sewers
• Very suspicious

• Eventually reveal there’s something alive down there, large and toothy
• Scared off their workers, given contact details for one ‘Carlos’
• Get a map of the location
• Also given contact details of ‘Dave’ a worker who will act as our guide

• ¥25000 total

• Called Carlos
• Creature is about size of a family sedan
• At least a 100 teeth!

20/07/2076 (Monday)

• Call Dave the next morning
• Seems simple…
• But fairly helpful
• Meet him that evening at a run down pub before his shift
• Heavily cybered

Discuss the sewer layout

• Centre section is 2.5m deep
• Pits are 10m deep and lead to deeper parts of the sewer

• Sanguine is informed of job and asked for sewer blueprints
• He provides one
• Drains under the pits are not connected
• Asked if he can swim

• Loki goes to check the gear with Dave
• Jack going to send down a beast spirit to investigate

21/07/2076 (Tuesday)

• Smith contacted Prof Sharp to ask about selling the body of a paracritter to any of his colleagues
• Met Dave in the pub that evening
• Head to the warehouse his coop uses as a base and change into overalls
• Bring a hose and water tank for later

• Head to the sewer and go down inside
• First sluice gates are open
• Sanguine is able to access the code and deal with the software issues he finds in the gates systems

• Jack summons a spirit of beasts
• Spirit finds a 13m long 5m wide croc
• Trying to go around it (can’t go over it, can’t go under it)
• Attempted to close sluice gate behind us – slammed shut and broke the control panel
• Behemoth hears and charges down the tunnel
• Smith tells team to move quietly
• Dave panics and runs down the tunnel shouting
• Smith drops a smoke grenade and backs away
• Adds a CS gas grenade

• Jack encourages Dave to calm down
• Can see its breaking its way through the gate
• Smith opens fire
• Loki runs away, assesses panel, thinks a tweak may realign it
• Sanguine successfully fixes the gates software problems
• Smith still firing
• Behemoth slumps back into the pit, dead?

• Loki fixed the hydraulics for the gate
• Smoke clears, there is blood, twisted remains of the gate

• Team keeps moving
• At the room with the panel
• Filled with blood and gore
• On an upper mezzanine there is a railing
• Up here there is a ghoul
• He puts his hands up and shouts down not to shoot
• Jack asks him what he’s doing
• Seems scared
• Turns around, hands on the wall
• Sleeping bag, laptop, chair and desk
• Laptop is wired into the panel

• Sanguine argues with the ghoul about the laptop
• What are you doing?
• Claims it was to get matrix activity, but Sanguine doesn’t believe him
• Asking him to give a reason not to kill him
• Not satisfied
• Shoots him in the back of the head

• Dave burns up the blood
• Freezer is full of shrink wrapped meat
• Laptop was playing a trid
• Sanguine disconnects laptop + freezer from the panel
• Fixes the panel
• Can hear things powering up

• A drone is travelling along the sewer passage

• Jack’s spirit scouts the route back, behemoth is dead in the pool
• Journey back is uneventful
• Smith jumps in and collects some teeth
• Takes some pictures
• Sanguine leaves a coin on the corpse

• Return to the warehouse
• Hosed down
